On September 11th, the “2018 Overseas Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week in Copenhagen• the China-EU cleantech contest” has been successfully held in Copenhagen and Shanghai. Investment companies and overseas talents have participated in the activity and many cultural and creative projects have emerged, showing the inter-connected innovation of China and other countries.
The China-EU clean-tech contest is supervised by the organizing committee of 2018 business startups and innovation, sponsored and conducted by the Umore Cleantech Consulting, hosted by Green Tech Challenge and National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center, supported by the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Denmark, the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce, P.R. China, the Association of Chinese Experts in Denmark and IWH-International Water Hub. The contest, which aimed at meeting the needs of Chinese market, has been oriented to European enterprises with great technical skills and high commercialization abilities.
The China-EU Cleantech Contest aims at providing an opportunity for European enterprises to develop their business in Chinese market. In the contest, the Chinese government and enterprises will offer constructive suggestions to those European enterprises from the aspect of technology, business model, marketing and organization.
The winner will receive the China-EU cleantech award and get the opportunity to attend the summit of CLEANCONNECT 2018 international cleantech transfer and financing. And it will also get the specialized service offered by Umore Cleantech Consulting, which helps facilitate its development in Chinese market.
In total, 35 enterprises, which are interested in Chinese market, entered the competition. Their services cover solid waste disposal, atmospheric administration, renewable energy, energy conservation management, new energy manufacturing and environment.
The counsellor for scientific and technological affairs of the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Denmark Peng Sizhen, the general manager of Guohuai Investment Company Miao Naichuan, the chief engineer of BESINO Gerrit Förster and the director of the Chinese Affairs of Department of Denmark Cleantech Industry Association Morten Kildahl Sørensen have been invited to be judges. They will give opinions and advices and select five enterprises to enter the final held in Shanghai. The winner will receive cash and free service to expand Chinese market as the reward.
